The paper deals with the category of adjectival aspect in the Slavoserbian language. The first section presents the results of the analysis of the corpus of selected Slavoserbian texts which was conducted in order to determine: (1) morphological characteristics of definite and indefinite adjectives and (2) the functional aspects of their use in Slavoserbian. Based on the patterns of distribution of long and short adjectival forms, determined by the corpus analysis, the central part of the paper discusses the semantic and pragmatic aspects of the category of adjectival aspect in Slavoserbian. The final part addresses the question whether the grammatical category of definiteness and indefiniteness of the primary type is a property of Slavoserbian.
